Ryan Air flies from London Stansted into Carcassonne every day (twice a day during the summer season). Bargain fares can be found on Ryan Air's web site ­ www.ryanair.com. Alternatively you can fly into Toulouse from other major British Airports.

Car hire is available from both Carcassonne and Toulouse Airport.

Directions from Albi

Take N112 from Albi to Castres and then to Mazamet.  After passing through Rigatou turn right at the traffic lights signposted to Carcassonne.  At 2nd set of traffic lights turn left. Follow road and take right turn signposted to Carcassonne.  Continue to the next traffic lights and turn left.  At roundabout take first exit right to Carcassonne, N118.  Follow mountain road for approximately 5 miles.  Drive past turning for Lac des Montagnes on the right, take the next right, signposted Les Lombards and La Calmilhe.  Drive approximately 500m and take sharp right, we are the 2nd drive on the right.
